International links to be celebrated at ‘The Big Assembly’

Today we’re delighted to announce that the links between Catholic schools and other schools around the world will be celebrated at ‘The Big Assembly’.

Catholic schools have a strong tradition of working with the community, whether that be in their parish, their local town or city, or reaching out even further afield. This community involvement will be highlighted as part of the Holy Father’s celebration of Catholic education in September.

The English school involved in this celebration is Holy Cross Catholic Primary School in Plymouth. You can find out more about Holy Cross Primary School by visiting their website here. They have strong links with St John Vianney School in the Gambia and you’ll hear more about these links on Friday 17th September at ‘The Big Assembly’.

We’ll have more Holy Cross Primary School on here soon so keep checking back to find out more!
